Family

My goals in life are simply, yet they mean so much to me. I try hard to keep them updated and make them come true. Most of them seem like they aren't goals, or that they may come natural to many people, but I will always keep them in my mind and make sure that i am taking necessary steps to make them stay true to myself. I feel that getting the ability to live on this earth and have relationships is so wonderful. A lot of people, in my opinion take things like this for granted, but these are things we must keep in our minds all the time to make living something spectacular, fun, and happy. One of my biggest goals is to make relationships with others and keep them up.
All of these photos that you see have to do with my families i have made on my journey through life. Yes, some of them are by default, like the first two and the last one, but all of them are important to me. This first photo means a lot to me. This is at a family reunion of winter break last year. Looking at this photo reminds me of having good times with my family. It also reminds me of what i don't want to be in the future. My father has had some very hard times with his family. He is like the outcast of the family, almost. I see this and it makes me want to keep up with my family and always have great relationships with each and every one of them. This is a very touchy subject for my dad, and i feel that the reason that family is so important to me, is because i saw my dad have such hard times dealing with his family and seeing the way that they treated him makes me sick.
This second picture is with Holland. My baby!! He is the newest addition to our family. Last year my brother started dating his now fiance, and she had a 2 year old boy at the time, Holland. As time went on, i began to see him more and more and now Sean (my brother) and Tiffany are getting married. That means the little Holland is my nephew! I'm an aunt! it has been so amazing! I am so excited for the future. Just being able to see him grow up, and see what he will do with his life and the choices he will make. I get the change to make an impact on someones life. and i will always get to be in his life! i love these aspects of family!
This third picture is a picture of me and my roommates this year. Ian is on the left and Dannie on the right. I would definitely call them my closest family right now. We do everything together, from cleaning our house, to shopping for food for our house, and hanging out. I love them so much and they mean the world to me. Just to give an example of how i keep my friends close and keep in contact with them, Dannie and I have been best friends since 6th grade. I think knowing someone for that long and actually keeping close is almost unheard of. She is so dear to me, and we are like sisters. So family can come in such different perspectives than some people may see.
This last picture is a picture of my new sister-in-law and my two brothers. Life is just starting for me, and i get to add more and more people to it. My brothers have always means so much to me, and they always will! But their wife's are amazing too! to tell you the truth, they are a lot like me, and that makes me feel that i have impacted my brothers in the way they pick girls. Brooke is in the picture with me. What i like about her is she is like a friend, but we are related now. So i can tell her things about troubles i am having, and she doesnt judge me. She tells me what a friend would say, but i can also count on her to be my family. In this picture we were all celebrating Tiffany's (seans wife) birthday. this is something special to me, because we all get to be together as a family. I love getting older.
So family can come in differnt shapes and sizes and i feel that my goal is something that i will always keep close to me. I will always know the people that have impacted my life. and i hope to impact others lifes just as much.
